So, does anyone have any pics of the actor Frédéric Bindebongue who played Mad Jack? How would you feel about the facial model if it was revealed to be created from scratch rather than from a real person? If, however, the model of Mad Jack was created from scratch, I'd just prefer to know upfront and come to a conclusion on his design myself. If that's the case, then great, no worries. I realize hundreds auditioned for the roles in Heavy Rain and there's every chance that the actor is real, but was simply used for face modelling and never heard of again. I simply think it would put some of my doubts to rest if I could find an image of the real actor that portrayed Mad Jack and compare him to his in-game persona like the other actors. Now I'm not out to start a witch hunt or cause any trouble and if any of this comes off as inflammatory or inappropriate I swear it wasn't my intent and I apologize. The reason I'm so hung up on this issue is because in the past some have taken offense to certain characters that appeared in David Cage's games before, most notably the Chinese man from Indigo Prophecy which some felt to be a racist caricature. Aside from playing both Hassan and Mad Jack he also has his own modeled character he voices named Paco Mendez. This is Hassan, his model is listed on the Heavy Rain wiki as "Belkacem Esbahi", strangely he also has no info to be found and an image search returns next to nothing on the actor just like Mad Jack.īoth these characters happen to be voiced by the same person, David Gasman. The only ones who don't have real world counterparts to compare are Mad Jack, and this guy I know, because I checked them all myself. Why is this weird? Because every other character in the game that has a model listed under their details has info or pictures of them that can be found to compare and show they not only exist, but that their in-game counterpart matches up to the real world equivalent. Even google pictures returns nothing but a scant few results. Yet a quick search shows nothing on anyone by this name. On the Heavy Rain wiki page for the character it lists "Frédéric Bindebongue" as the model. Problem is, I can't find any pictures of him. Since every character in Heavy Rain is modeled on a real person I thought I'd check out the real life actor that portrayed Mad Jack and compare him to his in-game model. The character Jackson "Mad Jack" Neville from Heavy Rain left quite an impression on me, aside from being cartoonishly over the top, I always felt his face had a very distinct look to it.
